GeoMC announced on the 16th that it has signed an 'MC Square Companion Animal Sound/Music Therapy Industry-Academia Research MOU' with ANIBIOME, Seoul National University Integrative Veterinary Medicine Research Center, Korea Animal Protection Education Foundation, and NDIC.
According to GeoMC, the parties held a signing ceremony at GeoMC's conference hall on the 14th, declaring their commitment to collaborate on joint clinical research related to companion animal sound and music therapy incorporating MC Square solutions.
GeoMC and ANIBIOME have been conducting research on companion animal sound and music therapy over the past two months. The research led them to agree that a dedicated device for companion animals incorporating MC Square solutions is needed for the emotional stability of not only humans but also dogs and cats.
Through this agreement, the parties plan to launch products for companion animals going through difficult times due to illness and aging. Additionally, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to support the health of abandoned animals and promote the value of life.
"We held this signing ceremony with those who share our interest in companion animal health promotion and veterinary alternative medicine," said a GeoMC representative. "We will introduce products that help provide emotional stability for sick pets and abandoned animals, offering comfort to their guardians as well."
The signing ceremony was attended by GeoMC Chairman Lim Young-hyun, ANIBIOME Director Oh Gyu-sil, ANIBIOME CEO Dr. Oh Won-seok, Korea Animal Protection Education Foundation Chairwoman Park Hye-sun, and NDIC Vice President Kim Young-in.
